So it's been a while
Scratch that
I practically NEVER go on here. And it's not that I don't want to. It's like with my Youtube video's, I've got ideas, it's just finding time.
Seriously. If I had all the time in the world, and I didn't have to worry about anything, I'd be youtubing, blogging and tumblring 24/7. It'd a make for a dull blog though, if I didn't worry about anything that is. And I'd do all that AFTER the hundreds of hours spent on Call of Duty. Seriously that game takes your LIFE! although it IS pretty fun, especially tomahawking....
Incidentally, that's something new. A couple of friends and I set up a Youtube channel for cool tomahawk montages. If you're interested in that kind of thing, go check it out, www.youtube.com/discovertomahawking
We're trying to encourage more people to use tomahawks, as not enough people use them (For example, the number of times I've been killed by a tomahawk - 63, My total deaths, 17,000+. Percentage killed by tomahawk? 0.37% That's low. Number of times I've killed with a tomahawk? Over 1000. Okay, not loads admittedly, but I'm working on it. And if I get good enough I'll do a tomahawk only prestige. No knifing or using weapons. And I'll use non aggressive killstreaks too. It'd be fun. Hard but fun. Might do it for my final prestige :D Would be a bit of a laugh. I'd have to go and play lots of S+D and plant the bomb a lot haha. Oh well. Anyway I should probably go and continue getting quotes for my essay on the postwar Japanese economic 'miracle' before I PROPERLY fall asleep.

NaNoWriMo
You don't use old work either, that's cheating. You can use character designs that you've thought about. The idea isn't that you write an amazing novel in a month, the idea is to challenge yourself to write for a month. It's trying to get people to finish novels, as they know that so many people start and never finish because they don't have the motivation, so they think that by giving a time limit of a month, people will set themselves the task and stick to it.
I'm going to be taking part hopefully, I think I have an idea about what I'm going to write about. I don't know if I'll manage a whole novel, but hopefully it'll motivate me to write more than I ever have before. You can tell I'm at least a little motivated - since when did I blog :o. If you're interested in signing up you can do so at www.nanowrimo.org . details etc are there too, and it's really easy to sign up.
On a side note, I haven't done video's in ages due to lack of ideas, but I'm hoping that'll change soon. Uni has taken over a little bit, though that's no excuse ¬¬ Anyway, byebye, thanks for reading

Samaritan?
That in itself isn't overly odd, girls are everywhere. And by 'seeing a girl' I mean that she was in my line of sight, not, I took her home and stuff. She was sitting on a low wall with her head bowed. She had that kind of body language you see when someone's just had something really bad happen to them, and they don't quite know what to do. It's also the body language people give off when they've been rejected at a party, kinda, curled up in a ball trying not to be noticed.
It worked though - by the time I noticed her, I was already past her. She'd been sitting under a tree in the shadows so you couldn't really see her. I did what everyone else does, and just thought nothing of it... until I got a little further up the road. I stopped and looked back for a minute, and she didn't move at all, she just sat there.
I was thoroughly confused, should I go back, check if she was okay and see if I could help? Or did I just keep cycling and forget about it as getting caught up in her life wasn't my problem.
I left it and cycled off, but I wish I'd just checked to see what was wrong, even if she didn't want any help or told me just to go away, I'dve tried. I guess I did what pretty much everyone else would do, but I hate conforming.
Everyone likes to think 'oh, I wouldn'tve done that, I'dve done this', don't get me wrong, when most people heard the story of the good samaritan, they'dve all said they'dve helped, and I'm sure some people would, but for the rest of us, when it comes down to it, we don't quite make the cut.
But hey, life goes on. And if I hear a story in the papers about a girl who was raped/found dead down springfield road, I'll never forgive myself.
So don't do what I did, go an make sure, double check, as long as you try, you're above me.

It's a new dawn
It's a new life,
For me
And I'm feeling...
Not that great actually.
I'm not a sun lover myself. You might have noticed. I'm not someone who goes out by choice and gets suntanned. You're effectively cooking yourself. Wth? Though, nor am I someone who goes into the sun and screams in pain before being vapourised (I.e. I'm not a vampire) Nor do I sparkle. For all you weirdos who think THAT constitutes a vampire.
It's interesting, the number of people who say 'Oh I am SO English, in winter it's too cold, in summer it's to hot.'
Then there's me, who is typically half Scottish, half English - a weird combination that means whatever the weather, I know it won't be satisfactory, and regardless I'll be miserable. Reminds me of someone saying about the glasgow bombings, how the guy who stopped them, saved hundreds of people being burnt. You have to remember, these were SCOTS on their way to SPAIN.
Enjoy.

So
I haven't put up any video's in a while, it's not that I haven't filmed them, on the contrary, I've got guest fridays with Irene and Becca from before I had my new camera, and I've even filmed another song, 2 vlogs and a adventure of the man with the one track mind, I just haven't edited them yet, and currently my parents are pressuring me into revising, and my video editing time is being eaten up by doing a video for school, the introduction to which is now finished :D hopefully.
I added a couple of little features to the blog, one being that you can vote on what you think of the blog posts, funny, boring or interesting. The second being that there is a poll in the top right. Obviously I encourage you to use these features, I like seeing what people think, and most people can't be bothered to comment, so all you need to do is click =]
So it's goodbye from me and it's goodbye from him.

How would you draw a nightmare and other weird questions
Additionally, how would you draw a nightmare? I don't mean draw something that happened in a nightmare, that would be simple, or draw someone's greatest fear/worst day, which could also be deemed a 'nightmare', I mean the hysteria of something unseen that you just can't quite remember when you wake up, but you know terrified you while you were asleep.
I used to think when I was younger, that everyone saw the world differently, and saw people differently. So for example, I might see someone as tall, dark and blonde haired called James, and someone else might see them as short, pale and brown haired called Fred, so everyone could exist, but exist differently in each others worlds. It would explain why people fall in love with different people, someone I might find really unattractive could be really attractive to someone else and so on.
Finally, I know this is quite a common idea, sometimes used in films and books (even music video's occasionally [see 'In The Shadows - The Rasmus]) What if there were another world on the other side of mirrors. I know potentially impossible, the proportional constraints of mirrors would obviously mean that, unless a particularly deep mirror, you might be able to have an ant or something of similar size. But mirrors are often likened to water, and vice-versa, occasionally used as portals to different dimensions in sci-fi films, but what if it were possible? What would be behind it? Or would it be two copies of our world, where people looking in mirrors was synchronised exactly, but other events were opposite?
It's been almost a year since I last posted, and I figured that seeing as it's nearly the end of school forever, I should probably update a bit. Rawr, Alasdair disapproves of nostalgia and angst ¬¬ and thinks that this will be the only time anyone will hear him say 'BRING ON SUMMER'
If only to escape from the parental constraints, educational limitations, and the odeon. Grr.

MUST BLOG TEMPTATIONS OVERWHELMING
so ie always been a little bit of a gossip whore well connected etc
while everyone else was out making a tard of themselves i was always filing it away in my head for future blackmail and lemme tell you something having a big network has always been useful but yeah im digressing its just that most things that you think i wont find out ill either figure out from someone else or ill just read you until i know what it is
now you might be thinking OH WHAT ITS THIS DELICIOUSLY TANTALISING PEICE OF GOSSIP THEN? well tbh its non existant i just feel like blogging about the immaturity of some people
not a bitchy post mind you
its just i find it immature when people are always declaring undying love for someone
im not bitter and im not scorned(much :p) its just that love a first sight isnt real and its getting annoying the amount of people im dealing with at this point who are convinced it will happen
love is a delicate flower damaged by almost everything
thats why people only love one person for their entire life its because that flower was fortunate to resist the harsh environment of a human heart
love takes time to grow too, a long time in my experiance. it grows in the strangest of places too and when you finally give up on love youll look inside your heart and see it growing from say, the ceiling?
my prognosis to you lovesick fools?
stop trying so hard and just let it happen you wont find love by looking for it stop ruling people out and simply live by your own means love isnt about depending on someone, its about sharing all the things in your life with another, good or bad.
