So I just signed up to Na NoWriMo, which is a scheme that started in 1999. The idea is that for a month, starting on the first of November, you endeavour to write a 50,000 word fiction novel. It doesn't have to be any good, you're not supposed to take time editing it, the idea is that you just go with whatever comes to mind.
You don't use old work either, that's cheating. You can use character designs that you've thought about. The idea isn't that you write an amazing novel in a month, the idea is to challenge yourself to write for a month. It's trying to get people to finish novels, as they know that so many people start and never finish because they don't have the motivation, so they think that by giving a time limit of a month, people will set themselves the task and stick to it.
I'm going to be taking part hopefully, I think I have an idea about what I'm going to write about. I don't know if I'll manage a whole novel, but hopefully it'll motivate me to write more than I ever have before. You can tell I'm at least a little motivated - since when did I blog :o. If you're interested in signing up you can do so at www.nanowrimo.org . details etc are there too, and it's really easy to sign up.
On a side note, I haven't done video's in ages due to lack of ideas, but I'm hoping that'll change soon. Uni has taken over a little bit, though that's no excuse ¬¬ Anyway, byebye, thanks for reading
